Kanye West brought his Sunday Service concert series to his hometown of Chicago for the first time over the weekend.
The event was hosted at Huntington Bank Pavilion, where the 30,000-seat venue was filled to capacity with Yeezus worshippers. Yeezy made the show extra special for the Windy City crowd by inviting another Chicago artist — Chance The Rapper.
Even though it was a big show as far as attendance goes, it still sounds like it had a pretty intimate feel — with the performers playing their music at the same level as the crowd — not on an elevated stage or way up in the sky, as Kanye’s done in the past.
