Being the younger sister.

Being the younger sister.

What I like about Solange is that she is always in her lane musically. One may think she would follow in her big sisters footsteps artistically. Instead Solange takes her time releasing her music, her  big sis seems to always be on the charts. Solange  is 30 now and her latest “Cranes in the sky” takes me back to the days of female artist like Minnie Ripperton, Natlie Cole or a Patrice Rushin. “A seat at the table” is the title of her new CD, every track has a message and the production and music is on point, that is to be expected since it was produced by Raphael Saadiq formally of TONY TONY TONY fame. ( FYI: I was to be the 4th TONY but I had problems with TONY number 2, that would be the  funny looking drummer, but that’s another story, check back!). Her voice is so sweet she openly sings about smoking the chronic but if you are not listening carefully you will not catch it. I strongly encourage you to pick Solanges latest CD.
