Steven Stephens was probably the most hated man living in America if you still consider Dylan Roof a man. His picture was plastered all over the media. It was only a matter of time that he’d get caught by someone if his conscience didn’t get to him first. This story about how he was caught is something out of a movie.
According to TMZ, Stephens was recognized in a McDonalds drive thru by workers inside. They stalled on his fries so that the Erie, PA police could catch him. Kudos to them. “McDonalds finally gets something right,” I thought as I read it. Unfortunately, Stephens was selfish enough to take his own life as well before the police could apprehend him after a chase had ensued. Another life lost but less fanfare.
