The Boston Celtics Championship team from 2007 is having a reunion. The only problem is they are missing somebody. Their starting shooting guard averaged 17.4 points per game and shot a blistering 90% from the free throw line. But because he departed at the end of the 2011 season after losing to the Heat and having his playing time diminished with the rise of younger players, his former teammates are bitter. What is so troubling for me is the fact that if any of them were presented with the same situation, I think they would have or should have done the same thing. You play to win rings, that’s what the fans judge every player on. History looks favorable upon the guys with the ultimate prize in their resume.
