It Was More Than A Police Shooting…

It’s been a year since I participated in a Unity March in Dallas in memory of my dear friend Desmond Luster. The march was designed to be a unifying action to show frustration at the rash of killing of Black men in particular by policemen across our country. The killing of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castillo had just happened and we were all busting at the seams not knowing what to do and where to place our anger, frustration, despair, and a budding lack of trust in our judicial system to correct these atrocities. As you can see, those feelings still remain and justifiably so. Here is the video of the entire event shot on my phone and broadcasted on Facebook live.
