Tiger! Tiger Woods won his first tournament in five years Sunday. It was at the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
The past five years have been plagued with scandal and injury for the 42-year-old who was once the world’s number one golfer. Woods said that during Sunday’s tournament he “felt like crying.”
“I did begin to tear up,” said Woods, “but I had to pull myself together because I still had a few shots to finish what I started.”
This was the 80th win for Woods. During the trophy presentation, Woods said, “I can’t believe I pulled this off.”
It appears he’s back. Way to go, Tiger!
