John Singleton life ends…
On Monday morning, reports came in that filmmaker John Singleton had passed, and comments of admiration began to pour in on Twitter.
According to Kansas City FOX affiliate, Singleton family stated that he has passed early Monday morning.
“The Boyz n the Hood filmmaker and Snowfall creator was hospitalized in a coma after suffering a stroke a couple weeks back.”
Among the stars that visited Singleton in the hospital was Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson.
Singleton was the first black filmmaker nominated for Best Director Oscar. He lived to be 51 years old.
