Florida man brings kid with him for Burglary Day

Take Your Child to Work Day is a great way for parents to spend time with their kids while showing them what they do for a living — unless their profession happens to include burglarizing homes.

A Florida man was arrested last weekend for breaking into a home and bringing along two accomplices — one of whom was his 11-year-old son. Cops found 32-year-old Joseph McIntosh on the front porch in possession of items he had stolen from the residence. He was accompanied by a 23-year-old friend and his son who police say was “forced” to be there.

McIntosh and his friend were each arrested for burglary. McIntosh received an additional charge of child abuse. (The Smoking Gun)

Hot Takes:

  • It’s always nice when fathers spend quality time with their kids.
  • At least he taught his son that crime doesn’t pay.
  • The son may have to live with someone else for a while. A long while.
