Mary J. Blige will be honored at this year’s BET Awards.
She’s slated to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, an honor previously bestowed on Whitney Houston, James Brown, Diana Ross and Prince. Blige’s career-spanning accomplishments include nine Grammys, eight multi-platinum-selling albums, Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.
It all goes down on June 23rd, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
