This year’s BET Awards reportedly set a franchise record for the lowest ratings ever — and Nicki Minaj couldn’t be happier.
Nicki responded to a post from an account called @MusicNewsFact. She wrote, “When you go out of your way to be spiteful & hurt artists who have always supported your show… when you fire great people who have put their heart & soul into the show… when you’d rather be a messy reality show than a prestigious award show… when your still being dragged by that lace.”
Nicki stayed home this year, in retaliation for an article BET posted about her that Nicki didn’t like. The network apologized at the time and deleted the offending post.
