Rapper Lil Durk: Earning Complaint about Court Curfew

Lil Durk is looking for a little leeway from law enforcement.

The Atlanta rapper is currently out on bond as he awaits trial for murder. But he’s chafing at the restrictions on him, like a curfew that keeps him home from 11 PM until 7 AM. Durk is making the case that he can’t earn during those hours, especially when he needs time to travel to and from gigs out of state.

Durk wants the judge to sign off on permission to fly to Philly for a scheduled performance at the Dope Shows Festival. Otherwise, he says, he faces a lawsuit for no-showing. (TMZ)

Hot Takes:

  • He claims to have canceled six shows and is having a hard time supporting his six kids and other family members.
  • It’s hard to earn when you’re not allowed to make money the way you know how.
  • Free Durk!
  • He should have thought about this before. He’s lucky he’s not in jail as he awaits trial.
