MEEK MILL: Looking Ahead to the Future

Meek Mill is more than ready to move past his 2007 gun charge conviction.

Hours after pleading guilty to a single count, Meek tweeted, “I really put that [stuff] behind me today… I beat the streets.” Meek’s also received public support from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, DA Larry Krasner, and Philly 76ers owner Michael Rubin.

Now Meek can look ahead to the future — like his Legendary Nights tour with FutureYG and Megan Thee Stallion, which kicks off in Chicago this weekend.

Hot Takes:

  • It must be nice to know that whatever he does next, it’s up to Meek — not the state and not Judge Brinkley.
  • It must feel surreal for Meek. He’s been under the law’s thumb for over a decade. And every time he thought he was about to have paid his debt, more time would get tacked on. Talk about a nightmare.
  • It pays to have friends in high places.
