R. Kelly’s girlfriends have cooked up a plan to get the money they need to free R. Kelly.
TMZ reports that Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary are plotting ways to fund raise for the singer’s legal defense. They’re pitching a book they hope will sell enough to pay for top lawyer Tom Mesereau.
They’re also considering paid interviews and looking to launch Hollywood careers to help pay what are expected to be massive legal bills. Kelly is facing cases in four jurisdictions, and will need to pay for expenses like forensic experts, private investigators and more. (TMZ)
- If this book isn’t a tell-all or at least a tell-some, what’s the point?
- The book could be about anything, but it’s hard to imagine it selling if it doesn’t at least give new details on their relationship with Kelly.
- They can’t publish a book with the details of an upcoming case before the trial, can they?
- Are they trying to help him or themselves? This sounds like a way to get famous quick instead of get rich quick if you ask me.
