NASCAR Driver Mike Stefanik Killed in a Plane Crash

NASCAR stock car driver Mike Stefanik was killed in a small plane crash Sunday in Connecticut. He was 61.

Stefanik was won of the most accomplished drivers in Modified series, winning seven championships, and another two in the Busch North Series. Police say he took off in a single-seat Aerolite 103 plane in Coventry, Rhode Island and crashed into a wooded area just over the border in Connecticut. (ESPN)
