KEVIN HART: Road to Recovery

Kevin Hart is back to work. But his back is barely working.

His attorney released a statement saying, “Kevin has a long way to go in his recovery. He was cleared to work for short periods of time. He has been at the studio for a few hours a day doing very small things. He is taking it very slowly.”

The comic needed major surgery to repair three breaks in his spine. Five weeks later, he’s begun to shoot a marketing campaign for Jumanji: The Next Level. Hart did not have a choice. He’s contractually obligated to promote the movie that arrives the week before Christmas.

His lawyer said Hart won’t return to full-time work until 2020 — at the earliest. (Us Weekly)

Hot Takes:

  • Laughter is the best medicine.
  • Kevin Hart turned 40 this year but with a broken back he probably feels twice that age.
  • Maybe the spinal surgeons gave him an extra inch or two in height.
  • Kevin Hart is just another reminder to wear a seat belt. Front and back seat.
