We’re learning about what led up to DMX’s recent rehab check-in.
X didn’t relapse, but feared he was at risk to go back to his old ways. He was triggered by the stress of a sick child who has been in and out of the hospital, and the pressure of performing again. Instead of making a choice he would regret later, DMX knew he needed to seek help.
Don’t forget, he’s still technically on probation and gets randomly tested for drugs and alcohol. One slip-up could send him back behind bars. (TMZ)
