SHAQUILLE O’NEAL: Donates a Wheelchair-Accessible Home to a Family

Shaquille O’Neal‘s a big guy, but he has an even bigger heart.

Shaq has donated a wheelchair-accessible home to the family of a boy paralyzed by a gunshot.

12-year-old Isaiah Payton was leaving a high school football game in Atlanta when he was hit by a stray bullet. He’s been unable to leave the hospital because his family’s current home isn’t accessible. Enter Shaq.

Diesel heard about Isaiah’s story and reached out to his mother. He’ll pay the rent on the new home for a year, and even bought some furniture for the place.

A 15-year-old boy, whose name hasn’t been released, has been charged in the shooting. (USA Today)
