Former President Jimmy Carter: Recovery After Another Fall

Former President Jimmy Carter is recovering after taking another spill inside his Georgia home on Monday.

The 95-year-old suffered what was called “a minor pelvic fracture” and is being treated in a hospital. His spokesperson says, “He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.”

This is Carter’s second fall this month. Two weeks ago, he suffered a cut above his eye and required 14 stitches in the first. He also fell and broke a hip back in May. (USA Today)

Hot Takes:

  • This guy takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
  • Remember, in addition to all of his falls and injuries, he is also a cancer survivor.
  • After his last fall, he still attended a scheduled event that night.
