TEXAS SHOOTING: Two Dead and Six Wounded in Greenville

UPDATE (7:40 a.m. ET): The shooter remains at large. Meanwhile, more shots were fired last night at a candlelight vigil for the victims. No injuries were reported. (USA Today)

Two men were killed and at least six others wounded when a gunman shot up a homecoming weekend party around midnight Saturday near Texas A&M University Commerce in Greenville.

Four of those wounded were reportedly in critical condition, while six other people were injured when they attempted to flee the scene. One other shooting victim was reportedly in good condition.

Authorities are looking for a lone gunman, but no suspect has been identified and police were still attempting to get a detailed description of the shooter from witnesses who were at The Party Venue facility when the incident took place. (The Dallas Morning News)
