TRUMP: Booed at World Series Game in Washington, DC

President Trump attended last night’s World Series game at Nationals Park in Washington, DC and was greeted with loud boos and chants of “lock him up.”

Trump arrive at the game after the first inning and was shown on the jumbotron after the third inning during the Nationals’ salute to veterans. The veterans received a loud ovation, but the cheers quickly turned to boos when Trump was shown in his suite with First Lady Melania Trump, Senator Lindsey Graham, and congressmen Steve ScaliseMark MeadowsMatt Gaetz, and Liz Cheney.

Hot Takes:

  • It’s probably a good idea he didn’t choose to throw out the first pitch.
  • The stadium probably figured he wouldn’t get booed if they showed him during the salute to veterans.
  • Many fans also brought signs to the game directed at Trump, including this “Veterans for Impeachment” sign held up behind home plate.
