Woody Allen has settled his $68 million lawsuit against Amazon.
The filmmaker sued the company after it backed out of a four-picture deal and cancelled the release of his completed 2018 film, A Rainy Day in New York. Woody’s lawyers say Amazon killed the deal because of renewed molestation allegations by his daughter Dylan Farrow. But Amazon says it was because he made insensitive remarks about the #MeToo movement.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but sources tell Deadline that “there were no winners in this in the end.”
