The rapper Bad Azz — not Boosie Badazz — died in jail this week at age 43.
He was friends with Snoop Dogg, and was being held in custody at a Riverside, California detention center on domestic violence charges. He was arrested on Friday and supposed to go to court on Tuesday. Bad Azz was linked to Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Warren G, Nate Dogg and the rest of Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips.
Law enforcement says there were no signs of foul play, but there’s an ongoing investigation. A coroner has yet to determine the cause of death. (TMZ)
Hot Takes:
- Bad Azz worked with MC Eiht, Mistah F.A.B., Bizzy Bone, Lady of Rage, Ice Cube and Busta Rhymes.
- Rest in power Bad Azz.
- Snoop paid tribute on social media, where he posted “R.I.P. to my young D.P.G.L.L.G.L.B.C. Crew original, @BadAzzLBC gone too soon.”
- Sorry, but this sounds suspicious.
