President Jimmy Carter is the oldest, and quite possibly, the toughest former president.
The 95-year-old is recovering well and was even up and walking just a day after having brain surgery on Monday. His spokesperson, Deanna Congileo, says the procedure to reduce pressure on his brain was a success and there were no complications. She says he is in good spirits and will remain in the hospital “as long as advisable.” (USA Today)
