Artists nominated for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards on Wednesday are reacting to their nods on social media.
Lizzo, who has eight nominations — including one in each of the big four categories — tweeted, “This has been an incredible year for music and I’m just so thankful to even be part of it… We are all winners.”
Lil Nas X, who got six nods, wrote, “No [effing] way.”
Offset reacted to his nomination for his collaboration with his wife, Cardi B, “Thank you God for the gift of my talents so I can try to change the world with my music. I won’t get lost in yearning for that win – I’m just grateful to my peers who support my artistry and voted to get me to the GRAMMY nomination and to be a part of a list of such amazing creators. Thank you to my wife, my label and especially my fans. Truly blessed.”
YBN Cordae tweeted “Yo I got nominated for a [effing] Grammy what the actual [hell]… 2 of em!!!”

Rapsody tweeted through her disappointment with a single shrugging emoji. On Instagram, she elaborated by writing “Thank you for the LOVE you award me… I see you. The ones who lend me your ear, words, support. Every time. I rarely, if ever, show my cards or that I’m human when it comes to my music career…Feel like opening up some today, tho. Today…..disappointed. Yes. Frustrated…beyond. But, you have to tell yourself the good fight is never an easy one.”
