RUTH BADER GINSBURG: Back Home from the Hospital

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was back home Sunday after being treated in the hospital for chills and a fever over the weekend. Her spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said, “She is home and doing well.”

Justice Ginsburg was treated with intravenous antibiotics and fluids at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after she was admitted on Friday night, following an initial visit to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington.

Over the past year, the 86-year-old justice had surgery for lung cancer and radiation treatments for pancreatic cancer. She also had surgery for pancreatic cancer in 2009 and was treated for colon cancer in 1999. (The New York Times)
