BILL COSBY: First Interview Behind Bars

Bill Cosby granted his first interview from behind bars over the weekend, and the disgraced comedian still insists he never sexually assaulted Andrea Constand and therefore will never express remorse.

The 82-year-old Cosby tells Black Press USA he did nothing wrong and is sitting in a Pennsylvania prison because of a trial he says was “a set-up.” He argues, “That whole jury thing. They were imposters.” He believes the jurors decided he was guilty before the trial even began.

Cosby is serving up to 10 years behind bars and figures he’ll serve the entire sentence because the parole board is “not going to hear me say that I have remorse.”

Hot Takes:

  • Cosby says he spends his days talking to the other inmates and holds Saturday lectures.
  • He could be up for parole in two years.
  • He says he doesn’t receive any special treatment in prison, but that seems hard to believe.
