EARTH WIND & FIRE: Tribute to Allee Willis

Earth Wind & Fire vocalist Philip Bailey tweeted a tribute to Allee Willis, who co-wrote the group’s classic “September” and other selections.

Along with a photo of the Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, he wrote, “It would be like Allee Willis to Take Flight at a time of the most Holy of days. You will be missed my friend. Until we meet again. Love and Light.”

Willis, who was 72, died Christmas Eve from an apparent heart attack.
