At a time when presidential candidates are beginning to drop out of the race, former Rhode Island senator and governor Lincoln Chafee is just getting in.
Chafee, who was a one-term Republican senator and then a one-term Democratic governor of Rhode Island, is running for president as a Libertarian. The 66-year-old, who ran for president as a Democrat in the 2016 election, registered his campaign with the Federal Election Commission on Sunday.
Chafee says he is running on his untarnished record as a public servant over the past 30 years which he says is scandal free. (CBS News)
