The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak has reached 425 in mainland China as the virus continues to spread quickly through the country and around the world.
Health officials in China report at least 20,000 confirmed cases in the country. In the U.S., 11 cases are confirmed, but no deaths. Chinese officials say although the U.S. has stated it would provide assistance to China in battling the spread of the virus, it has yet to receive any help. They also accuse the U.S. of spreading fear by imposing travel bans.
Meanwhile, a Princess Cruises ship in Japan with more than 3,500 passengers on board has been quarantined after it was determined that a man from Hong Kong, who was on the ship last week, has since been diagnosed with coronavirus. (USA Today)
