An heiress to the Hot Pockets fortune has gotten five months in prison for her involvement in the college admissions bribery scandal, TMZ reports.
Michelle Janavs, whose family invented the tasty sandwiches, pleaded guilty to paying $100,000 to help her two “daughters cheat on college entrance exams…and agreeing to pay another $200,000 for one of [the girls] to be set up to look like a beach volleyball recruit to get admitted to USC.”
Prosecutors recommended 21 months for Janavs, who they called one of the “most culpable parents” in the case.
Actress Felicity Huffman got 14 days in the scandal, and Lori Loughlin and her husband are still hoping to skate on their charges.
