Slim Thug is the latest celeb to test positive for the coronavirus.
The Houston rapper told his Instagram followers that he’s been really careful about self-quarantining. He says he mainly stayed at home, and might have gone out a few times for food, but made sure to wear a mask and gloves. Despite those precautions, he still wound up contracting and testing positive for COVID-19. It just goes to show you — you can’t be too safe.
The 39-year-old rapper appears to be in a good spirits and health at this time. He’s set to release a new album on Friday.

- We’ve seen rappers like G Herbo and The Wu-Tang Clan advising fans on proper hygiene techniques. Meanwhile, guys like Casanova are determined to prove the virus won’t stop them.
- The ‘Rona is like an unsigned rapper trying to give you their mixtape — it will stop at nothing.
- It’s just a matter of time before artists start saying they’ve got it just to get people talking about them.
