McDonald’s has been forced to make several changes to its operations amid the coronavirus crisis, and the fast-food giant announced one more that breakfast-lovers aren’t going to like.
In an effort to “simplify operations in our kitchens and for our crew, and ensure the best possible experience for our customers,” McDonald’s has decided to temporarily pull its popular all-day breakfast menu. A spokesperson for the company says they’re instead focusing solely on their most popular menu choices.
But it won’t be gone forever. McDonald’s president Joe Erlinger tweeted, “All day breakfast’s response to this news: ‘I’ll be back.'” (USA Today)
Hot Takes:
- McDonald’s has already closed down its dining rooms and play areas due to the pandemic.
- There are worse things in the world right now. We can live without an afternoon McMuffin for a while.
- Every person, every business is doing whatever it needs to do these days.
