The Southern California mansion that Prince once famously painted purple has gone on the market.
The Beverly Hills property has quite a backstory. It was once owned by Elizabeth Taylor, and Prince rented it from NBA star Carlos Boozer — but after moving in, decided to remake it in his own image.
He not only painted the outside, but oversaw major changes, turning Boozer’s weight room into a disco dance floor with a DJ booth and converting bedrooms to a hair salon and massage parlor. After Boozer objected, Prince turned the decor back to the way it was when he first rented the home.
The property is listed for $29.95 million. (TopTenRealEstateDeals.com)
