The Georgia State Police shut down one of 2 Chainz’s Atlanta restaurants yesterday (Monday).
An Escobar Restaurant and Tapas location was forced to close its doors after the police “noticed that the location was rather loud, busy, and occupied to be operating as a restaurant at that time of night.”
The eatery’s Instagram displayed posts that showed crowds of people dancing, ordering bottle service and smoking hookah — Basically doing everything but wearing masks or social distancing themselves, so police intervened. (TMZ)
Hot Takes:
- It’s not like this was 2 Chainz’s fault — it was probably some manager or partner who went too far.
- Hope the extra business was worth getting shut down.
- We’ve gotta put safety over profits.
