Mary J. Blige is getting into the wine game.
The Grammy-winner uncorked her new venture this week — Sun Goddess Wines. She’s starting with an Italian Pinot Grigio rosé and a Sauvignon Blanc, both on sale as part of a limited-edition collection.
In a press release, Mary explained how she found the perfect grapes. “After walking through the vineyards and tasting with the Fantinel family, I felt extremely connected to the place, and more importantly, the people… In that moment, I felt the same magical energy I have long tried to capture from the sun and knew this was an incredible opportunity to partner with someone who shared that passion, and together we could try to create something that evoked that feeling.”
Both bottles are on pre-sale for $19.99 on Wine.com and will become available nationwide in August.
