Ariana Grande’s new single, Hate That I Made You Love Me, has been selected as the week’s favorite new music in Billboard’s latest fan poll.
The poll, published Friday, May 29, asked listeners to choose the standout release from a group of new songs. Billboard listed Grande’s track alongside new music from Latto, aespa and other artists, with Grande finishing in first place.
The result adds early attention to Grande’s latest release as she begins a new chapter in her music career. Hate That I Made You Love Me is connected to her upcoming eighth studio album, Petal, which is scheduled for release on July 31.
The song follows Eternal Sunshine, Grande’s 2024 album, and comes as she prepares for another active stretch in music and live performance.
Latto’s Big Mama and aespa’s LEMONADE were also part of the week’s new release lineup. In the final fan results, Grande’s song led the vote by a wide margin.
