Felicity Huffman plead guilty in college admissions scandal

Felicity Huffman broke down in a Boston courtroom today (Monday) as she plead guilty for her part in the college admissions scandal.

The former Desperate Housewives star admitted to paying $15,000 to have her daughter Sofia Grace‘s SAT score boosted. Through tears, the actress revealed that her daughter has suffered from learning disabilities throughout her life.

In a statement, Felicity said, “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.”

Prosecutors recommended Felicity spend four months behind bars.

She’s set to be sentenced September 13th.
