The La. railroad days festival is this weekend. I have only been to Dequincy once in my three years here and I am looking forward to attending this event. Friday night features a Gospel concert, a bicycle parade and a model train show. Saturday is the Cannon ball 5k run sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the old timers reunion @ the United Methodist church gym on Center St., and the Railroad Idol contest starts at 11:30am.
