It’s Black Music Appreciation Month and you already knew that because it’s plastered on our social media pages that you visit daily. The new 2pac Biopic, ‘All Eyez on Me’ is in theaters this Friday, June 16 and is a perfect way to learn about the life and struggles of one of the world’s biggest black artists. It’s been over two decades since the death of the then 25 year old rapper who would’ve been 46 this Friday. 2pac is still relevant to this day. His words were so prophetic when speaking of the corrupt government, poverty in the black community, and even the ills in the music industry. If you don’t believe me, just look at some of Pac’s last interviews before his death. Just recently, Snoop Dogg inducted 2pac, his fellow Death Row label-mate, into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
If Director Benny Boom is lucky, he’ll get the same response as Gary F. Gray’s ‘Straight Out Of Compton‘ release. We’d love to hear your feedback about the film.
