Damon Wayans is leaving the FOX show, “Lethal Weapon” after he films the first 13 episodes for the current season.
Wayans said, “I’m going to be quitting the show in December after we finish the initial 13. So I really don’t know what they’re planning, but that’s what I’m planning. I’m a 58-year-old diabetic and I’m working 16-hour days.”
This show has been plagued with problems. The former star, Clayne Crawford, was fired for his reportedly rude and bullying behavior. The show was almost canceled its first season but then brought back. It’s reportedly chaotic on the set.
Wayans said, “I’m done. Like Murtaugh [his character on the series] said, ‘I’m too old for this.’”
